Lagos Police Set Date for 2025/2026 Constable Recruitment Screening

Lagos Police Command has announced that the physical and document verification for candidates applying for the 2025/2026 constable recruitment will begin on Monday.

The screening, confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. between March 9 and April 18 at the Police College in Ikeja.

Adebisi stated that only Lagos State indigenes who successfully completed the online registration for General Duty and Specialist Police Constable positions are eligible to participate.

Applicants are required to wear a clean white T-shirt and shorts and present essential documents, neatly organized in two white flat files, including the invitation slip, credential screening form, original National Identity Number card or printout, O’ Level certificate, birth certificate or age declaration, and Local Government or State of Origin certificate. Specialist candidates must also provide trade test certificates.

She added that a completed guarantors’ form with attached referee photographs and photocopies must be included, with all original and duplicate documents arranged separately.

Applicants who fail to present the full set of required documents will be disqualified from the screening.

The spokesperson reminded candidates to follow their assigned schedule and comply with all exercise guidelines, stressing that the process is free and strictly merit-based.

She also urged the public to report any individual or group soliciting payment in connection with the recruitment.
