Traditional ruler pledges ₦1m in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid

Alhaji Idris Musa, the Agaba of Jiwa in Abuja Municipal Area Council, has contributed ₦1 million to the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

Musa explained that the donation is intended to support President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

The contribution was handed over to the group, which promotes Tinubu’s candidacy, during a palace visit by its members led by Coordinator Mr Adamu Abdullahi on Wednesday.

He praised President Tinubu’s leadership and his selection of Nyesom Wike to drive development initiatives in the FCT.

Musa reaffirmed his full commitment to Tinubu’s re-election and pledged to personally rally support for the president.

He emphasized that citizens should acknowledge what he called a “commendable and brotherly gesture” shown through inclusive governance and meaningful appointments benefiting the people of Abuja.

Earlier, Abdullahi highlighted Tinubu’s inclusive governance style and the attention given to the FCT, citing strategic appointments, infrastructure projects, and policy reforms designed to enhance Abuja as a model capital city.

He also underscored the critical role of traditional institutions in sustaining development across the FCT and the nation.

The coordinator further stressed the importance of engaging village heads and community leaders to build broader support for Tinubu.

“I therefore seek the Agaba of Jiwa’s consent to enable the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to work with community leaders across all communities within this chiefdom,” Abdullahi concluded, noting that such collaboration is essential to mobilize grassroots backing.
