Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved the appointment of Mr Tukur Hassan-Dan Ali, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina Council, as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.
The Head of Civil Service, Malam Falalu Bawale, disclosed the appointment in a statement issued on Tuesday by his office’s Head of Communication, Abubakar Yaro-Bindawa.
Hassan-Dan Ali, from Danmusa Local Government Area, was appointed alongside Junaidu Muntari from Kankara and Yahaya Abdullahi from Safana Local Government Areas. The appointments followed a merit-based examination conducted by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria on behalf of the state government.
The Head of Service urged the appointees to serve with diligence, professionalism, and in the best interest of Katsina State’s civil service.
