5 members from each delegation to partake in Russia-U.S. talks

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov announced on Thursday that five representatives from each side will join the upcoming Russia–U.S. talks scheduled to take place in Alaska. Ushakov, speaking to reporters, explained that in addition to the presidents, the negotiations would involve a select group of officials.

For Russia, the delegation will include Ushakov himself, along with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defence Minister Andrei Belousov, and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov. Also on the team are Kirill Dmitriev, who heads the Russian Direct Investment Fund, and serves as the Special Presidential Envoy for Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries.

While Ushakov confirmed that the composition of the U.S. team is known to Moscow, he noted that it would be appropriate to wait for an official announcement from the American side.
