Lokoja, May 11, 2026 Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 12 Brigade under Operation Tiger Paw II have killed a suspected terrorist and recovered a cache of weapons during a coordinated ambush in the Adankolo Forest Reserve in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday in Lokoja by the brigade’s spokesperson, Lt. Hassan Abdullahi.
According to the statement, the operation formed part of ongoing military efforts to strengthen security along key routes across Kogi State, following recent offensives targeting criminal groups around Obajana and the Agbaja forest area.
