Makkah, May 18, 2026 Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has unveiled the timetable for the upcoming Umrah season, detailing key operational dates as well as digital procedures for visas, contracts and pilgrim arrivals.
The schedule was released on Sunday in Makkah as part of efforts to improve service delivery and streamline the pilgrimage process for visitors.
According to the ministry, the issuance of Umrah visas and the arrival of pilgrims into the Kingdom will commence on May 31.
It added that entry into Makkah and access to Umrah permits will be managed through the Nusuk application starting June 1.
The ministry further stated that the deadline for issuing Umrah visas is set for March 9, 2027, while pilgrims must enter the Kingdom no later than March 23, 2027.
It also fixed April 7, 2027, as the final departure date for all Umrah pilgrims.
Authorities urged Umrah service providers and international agents to strictly follow the approved timeline and comply with all regulations to ensure smooth and high-quality services throughout the season.
The announcement marks the close of preparations for the new Umrah cycle as the Kingdom continues to enhance pilgrimage management systems.
