Ruger Confirms Death of 22-Year-Old Singer Destiny Boy

Afrobeats singer Ruger has confirmed the death of 22-year-old singer Destiny Boy, following widespread speculation sparked by a viral video showing the young artiste motionless in a car.

Conflicting reports have emerged surrounding Destiny Boy’s death, with some claims suggesting he died at a herbalist’s residence, while others allege he fell ill earlier in the day. As of the time of reporting, no official cause of death has been disclosed.

Reacting on X, Ruger expressed frustration over the lack of clarity surrounding the circumstances of the singer’s passing.

“Bruh people will just post that someone has died and everyone will move on. Wtf caused his death, who was he with, what was the boy eating or drinking. No autopsy, NOTHING!!!! We just have to accept that he’s dead. My God RIP Destiny Boy,” Ruger wrote.

Destiny Boy, known for his street-influenced sound, rose to prominence at a young age and announced the birth of his first child in 2024.
