Revised Headline: Wike Attends 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit, Mayors’ Forum in Dubai

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum (2025APCS).

According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike was received by Nigeria’s Consul General in Dubai, Amb. Zayyanu Ibrahim, alongside officials of the FCT Administration.

During the summit, the minister will lead a panel discussion focused on the Federal Capital Territory and engage with mayors from other global cities.

The 2025APCS, organised by the Brisbane City Council, Australia, aims to promote trade, investment, and collaboration among cities and businesses across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

Themed “Collaborate, Inspire, Transform,” this year’s summit also features sub-themes such as “Centres of Connection,” highlighting transportation networks, sustainable urban development, and improved quality of life.
