PDP Kaduna minority caucus convenes with party leadership

The Minority Caucus of the Kaduna State House of Assembly recently held a strategic consultation with the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Edward Masha.

The meeting, hosted at the PDP Secretariat in Kaduna, was intended to foster closer collaboration and strengthen the party’s strategic direction.

During the session, Masha emphasized the importance of unity within the party and the need to align efforts between the leadership and its lawmakers.

“This consultative meeting is part of our ongoing efforts to build cohesion, improve strategic planning, and ensure effective coordination between the party and our legislators,” he said.

Masha, who also chairs the PDP Chairmen Forum for Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), highlighted that continuous dialogue is essential to reposition the party ahead of future political engagements.

He noted that discussions centered on party unity, legislative collaboration, grassroots mobilisation, and other key matters critical to the growth and relevance of the PDP in Kaduna State.

“For the PDP to effectively meet the aspirations of the people, there must be ongoing consultation, shared vision, and collective responsibility among all stakeholders,” he added.

Members of the minority caucus reiterated their commitment to supporting the party leadership, promoting democratic principles, and representing the interests of their constituents effectively.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the PDP’s determination to remain a united, responsive, and influential political force within Kaduna State and across the region.
