The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has lauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and support in ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the party’s zonal congress and national convention.
The commendation was conveyed by the state party chairman, Mr. Kolawole Babatunde, in a statement released in Akure by the State Secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye.
Babatunde described the governor as demonstrating strong leadership and notable generosity, which played a key role in ensuring the comfort and coordination of Ondo State delegates during the events held in Lagos and Abuja.
He explained that Aiyedatiwa made adequate arrangements for the welfare and organisation of delegates throughout the engagements, fostering a sense of unity and confidence among participants.
According to him, the governor’s hospitality reflected his appreciation for party members and his commitment to inclusive leadership.
The chairman also praised the conduct of Ondo delegates, noting that they were disciplined, well-coordinated, and exemplary throughout the proceedings.
He expressed satisfaction with their unity, adding that their behaviour distinguished them among other participants.
Babatunde further expressed gratitude for the peaceful outcome of the events, noting that there were no incidents or casualties recorded.
He assured that the party would build on the success of the congresses and convention to strengthen internal unity and consolidate its position in the state.
