The Kwara State Government has gained international recognition after the signing of the historic Nelson Mandela Tribute Book at the House of Commons, UK Parliament in London.
The book was signed on Monday by Amb. Olufolake AbdulRazaq, wife of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State. Other notable signatories included former UK Prime Minister David Cameron and former Speaker John Bercow.
The tribute book celebrates Nelson Mandela as a symbol of courage, compassion, and service, highlighting his role in inspiring Africa’s commitment to justice and education.
“This signing is a moment of pride for Nigeria and Kwara, showcasing its leadership, education, and public service tradition. It reaffirms Africa’s commitment to justice, compassion, and education for all,” a statement from Adeyinka Adeniyi, Press Secretary to the Governor’s wife, said.
