Hilda Baci Becomes Three-Time Guinness World Records Holder After Historic Jollof Rice Feat

Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has announced that she is now a three-time Guinness World Records holder, following confirmation that her September 2025 jollof rice cook broke two global records.

In a post shared on Instagram, Hilda revealed that the event set records for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice and the largest serving of rice overall. The recognition came five months after the initial announcement, taking her total Guinness World Records titles to three.

The new achievements add to her historic 2023 record for the longest cooking marathon, where she cooked continuously for 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Hilda described her reaction to the news as shocking and overwhelming, noting that she had initially believed the jollof rice cook had earned her just one record. She said she only recently discovered that the same event had also broken the overall rice-serving record.

She credited the success to teamwork, especially acknowledging Oreoluwa Atinmo, whom she described as instrumental to the vision and execution of the project. According to her, the journey from idea to completion was a shared effort.

Expressing gratitude, Hilda thanked her team, supporters, and Guinness World Records for the recognition, describing the achievement as a reminder that “there’s always more” beyond what one initially sees.

The chef said the milestone is a powerful way to step into 2026 and reaffirmed her appreciation for the support that made the records possible.
