A political support group, Renewed Hope Advocates, has announced a N50 million contribution toward backing the 2027 re-election efforts of President Bola Tinubu and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The group’s National Coordinator, Mrs Beatrice Dakas, made this known during the inauguration of its National Executive Council held on Thursday in Jos.
The event drew party loyalists, political figures, and delegates from across the six geopolitical zones.
Dakas described the financial support as a reflection of the group’s confidence in the leadership of both Tinubu and Mutfwang ahead of the next election cycle.
She said members from across the country gathered at the event to endorse the two leaders for another term in office.
According to her, the decision was driven by what the group sees as impactful governance and visible development under their administrations.
She added that the organisation would intensify mobilisation efforts at both grassroots and urban levels to strengthen support.
Dakas urged Nigerians to remain supportive of the president, expressing belief that ongoing reforms would yield long-term benefits despite current economic challenges.
She maintained that the administration’s policies were laying a solid foundation for future growth and national stability.
In his response, Mutfwang, represented by his deputy, Josephine Piyo, expressed appreciation for the gesture.
He described the support as a demonstration of commitment to good governance and national progress.
The governor also encouraged members of the newly inaugurated executives to uphold discipline, service, and responsibility in their roles.
The development highlights growing political alignment as stakeholders begin to position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
