Ekiti LG Chairman Urges Workers to Embrace Commitment, Punctuality in New Year

The Chairman of Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Mr Bayo Omojola, has called on local government workers to demonstrate greater commitment and punctuality in the discharge of their duties in the new year.

Omojola made the call on Wednesday in Ikole-Ekiti during his first meeting with council workers for 2026.

He noted that the successful implementation of his administration’s development agenda depended largely on the dedication and cooperation of the workforce.

The chairman urged the workers to carry out their responsibilities diligently and avoid malice or conflict with colleagues.

“I want to thank God for His divine protection and faithfulness over every worker in Ikole Local Government Area.

“This is a new year, and I want every worker of this council to embrace the habit of commitment and punctuality in their offices.

“The engine room of every council is the workforce, and I am ready to provide a conducive environment to enhance your productivity,” he said.

Omojola also assured workers that his administration would give priority attention to their welfare throughout 2026.
