Afri Invoice says Nigerian businesses are increasingly adopting digital invoicing solutions as the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) prepares to roll out sweeping tax reforms across the country.
The founder of Afri Invoice, Mr Mark Odenore, said thousands of firms were accelerating their digitalisation efforts to align with anticipated changes in transaction reporting and taxation.
Odenore disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday in Lagos, noting that Afri Invoice was supporting the transition by offering incentives to early adopters.
“As the new tax laws take effect, many businesses must adjust their invoicing processes.
“At this critical moment, we are offering incentives to companies that begin their digital invoicing journey early,” he said.
According to him, the company aims to ease challenges associated with manual invoicing and tax compliance.
“Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible for businesses of all sizes,” Odenore said.
He described electronic invoicing as a fundamental transformation of Nigeria’s business and tax ecosystem, stressing that digital tools would enhance transparency, efficiency and compliance across the economy.
Odenore said Afri Invoice was already delivering measurable impact for Nigerian businesses.
“Our incentives are designed to support firms taking their first steps towards digital transformation,” he said.
He explained that the platform helps businesses automate invoicing, track payments in real time and comply with evolving tax regulations.
Odenore expressed confidence that the solution would reduce errors, improve cash flow and minimise exposure to fines and penalties.
According to him, Afri Invoice operates on three core pillars tailored to Nigerian business realities, recording a 99.7 per cent compliance rate with a 100 per cent penalty-free record.
“Every invoice is validated using QR-code authentication, audit trails and automatic data synchronisation,” he said.
He added that the platform fully meets FIRS technical requirements, helping businesses avoid audit-related penalties.
Odenore further said Afri Invoice is mobile-optimised, functions effectively in low-data environments and can operate offline during power outages.
“Once connectivity is restored, all data syncs automatically,” he said.
He noted that users also benefit from real-time dashboards, customer databases, multi-entity support and automated payment tracking.
“Professional branded invoices with QR codes and automatic VAT calculations can be generated in under five minutes.
“Payments integrate bank transfers, cards and mobile money through Flutterwave and Kuda, with invoices sent via email or WhatsApp,” he said.
Odenore reaffirmed Afri Invoice’s commitment to supporting Nigerian businesses as they navigate ongoing tax reforms through innovation and reliable digital solutions.
