The wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has restated that the present administration is committed to providing quality education for every child in the state, regardless of background or circumstance.
She made the remark following Anambra’s recognition as the Best Branch of the Year 2024 at the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) competition held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The 65th National Conference of STAN brought together science educators, researchers, policymakers, and young innovators from across Nigeria, with Anambra emerging as the overall winner.
Dr. Soludo explained that the state has continued to invest in inclusive and high-quality education while addressing key challenges in the sector.
“Our vision is simple — no Anambra child with a dream to excel through education should ever be denied that opportunity,” she said.
She congratulated the Anambra branch of STAN on its achievement, describing the award as evidence of the administration’s focused investments in education.
“I’m delighted that Anambra clinched such an outstanding award at the 65th STAN annual conference. Winning the Best Branch of the Year 2024 shows that we are still on the right path. Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration remains intentional about its visions, targets, and goals,” she added.
