Afghanistan’s Supreme Leader Says Country Has Reached Stage of Stability

Hibatullah Akhundzada, the supreme leader of Afghanistan, on Monday said the country has reached a stage of victory, general security and stability.

In a congratulatory message to mark the arrival of the Eid al-Fitr festival, Akhundzada said the progress was achieved through the sacrifices, patience and perseverance of the Afghan people.

“Through the sacrifices, patience and perseverance of the Afghan people, we have reached the stage of victory, general security and stability,” he said.

He also urged all sides to refrain from interfering in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.

Akhundzada further called for unity among citizens and support for Afghans returning from neighbouring countries.

He emphasised the need for cooperation to assist returnees and strengthen national stability.
