Hon. Sha’ayau Sarkinfawa, Coordinator of the Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari Constituency Office for Zamfara West Senatorial District, has commended the ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a major step toward strengthening internal democracy and credibility within the party.
Speaking with journalists on Thursday in Gusau, Sarkinfawa said the e-registration exercise would enhance transparency, accuracy and integrity in the APC’s membership database across the state.
According to him, the exercise is a critical foundation for internal democracy, noting that a credible and data-driven membership register is essential for effective party organisation and electoral success.
“The APC e-registration will strengthen the party’s membership base and upgrade the quality of its electoral data. It is a wise political initiative that will ensure sanity and credibility in our membership register,” he said.
Sarkinfawa commended President Bola Tinubu for sustaining reforms within the party and wished him success ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
He also noted that Senator Abdul’aziz Yari and the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, had already laid a strong political foundation for the APC in Zamfara State, expressing optimism that the exercise would record massive success.
The coordinator urged all APC members and stakeholders in the state to actively participate in the e-registration exercise to ensure they are properly captured in the party’s digital register.
He added that the APC remains the most dominant political party in Zamfara State and Nigeria, expressing confidence that it would secure overwhelming victories in the 2027 General Elections.Tools
