Tinubu Celebrates Kresta Laurel at 35, Commends Firm’s Excellence and Resilience

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Kresta Laurel Limited on its 35th anniversary, hailing the company as a model of indigenous excellence in elevator and escalator solutions.

In a statement issued on Thursday by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the president lauded the firm’s resilience, discipline, and adherence to strong business ethics, which he said have sustained its success in a highly competitive industry.

Tinubu reflected on the company’s role during his 1999 transition as Lagos State governor, recalling its support as he assembled his first technocratic cabinet. He expressed appreciation for Kresta Laurel’s commitment to Nigeria’s development and confidence in the nation’s future.

The president also extended his felicitations to Senator Gbenga Daniel, Chairman of the company’s Board, while wishing Kresta Laurel continued progress and greater milestones in the years ahead.

Kresta Laurel, a recipient of the African Order of Merit in Cranes, Escalators, and Elevator Technology, remains one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous firms in its sector.
