The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Audu, has commiserated with a former governor of Kogi State, Ibrahim Idris, over the death of his son, Mohammed Idris.
Audu commiserated with the former governor in a condolence message issued by his Special Assistant on Media,Mrs Lizzy Okoji on Thursday in Abuja.
He described the demise of the eldest son as a monumental loss to society, his community, and the people of Kogi.
Newsmen reported that the son died on April 10, 2024, in Abuja shortly after observing Ed-El Fitr Prayers.
He said that the deceased made tremendous impact as a successful businessman,and never failed to preserve the legacies of his father both in the business and political world.
The Minister urged the former governor to take solace in the short but impactful life his son lived, as he was a role model to many young people.
