Abuja, June 7, 2026 – The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr Musa Aliyu, has celebrated the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Malam Ali Muhammad Ali, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a distinguished professional whose contributions have positively impacted national development.
The goodwill message was conveyed in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by the commission’s spokesperson, John Odey.
Aliyu described the diamond jubilee celebration as a significant milestone, noting that it reflects a lifetime of achievements, service and dedication to society.
According to him, Ali Muhammad Ali’s commitment to effective communication and nation-building has earned him recognition and admiration within and beyond the media industry.
He said the celebrant’s professional accomplishments and personal values have contributed meaningfully to the growth of the country and deserved to be acknowledged.
The ICPC chairman prayed for continued good health, divine favour and many more years of fulfilment for the media executive.
He also commended the leadership of the managing director at the agency and appreciated the support extended to the commission through sustained media collaboration in the fight against corruption.
Aliyu noted that the relationship between both institutions has remained beneficial and expressed optimism that the partnership would continue to strengthen efforts aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in the country.
