Sen. Tunde Ogbeha, who served as the Chief Returning Officer, officially declared Atiku as the winner of the contest.
In his acceptance speech, Atiku praised fellow aspirants and commended party members for conducting what he described as a peaceful and credible electoral process.

He further appealed to aggrieved members and other contestants, including Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen, to work collectively toward strengthening the party and advancing democratic ideals.
He assured party members of his commitment to working closely with leaders and supporters to build a stronger ADC capable of offering purposeful leadership for Nigeria’s future.
