Chief Vin Dike, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Ekwusigo/Nnewi North/Nnewi South Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election, has expressed gratitude to his supporters following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.
He spoke to journalists in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, shortly after securing the APGA ticket at the party’s primary election.
Dike called on other aspirants who participated in the contest to join him in strengthening the party’s chances at the polls, stressing the importance of unity ahead of the general election.
He noted that if elected into the National Assembly, he would ensure his legislative priorities align with the development agenda of the Anambra State Government in order to attract greater benefits to his constituency.
According to him, his representation would focus on giving the people of Ekwusigo, Nnewi North, and Nnewi South a strong voice at the federal level and ensuring they receive fair attention in national affairs.
He expressed confidence in APGA’s strong political presence in Anambra State, adding that the party remains well positioned for victory in the upcoming election.
Dike, who currently serves as the President-General of Oraifite Community and Chairman of the Anambra State Town Unions Council, praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for promoting a functional “fourth tier” system of governance that integrates community leadership into state development.
He explained that although the framework is not yet backed by formal legislation, it has become operational and effective in driving collaboration between communities and government in areas such as budgeting, project selection, and security.
Dike reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and thanked constituents for the confidence they have shown in his candidacy.
