Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Eugenie, a niece of King Charles, is expecting her third child with her husband Jack Brooksbank later this year.
The confirmation was issued on Monday, noting that the royal couple, who married at Windsor Castle in 2018, are preparing to welcome another addition to their family.
Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank already have two sons—August, born in February 2021, and Ernest, born in June 2023. The palace said the children are excited about the arrival of a new sibling.
It also revealed that King Charles has been informed of the news and is pleased with the development.
Eugenie, who is 12th in line to the British throne, is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
