A 55-year-old woman, Sekinat Agoro, on Wednesday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for allegedly trespassing on another person’s land.
Agoro, whose residential address was not provided, faced charges of conspiracy, forcible entry, and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace. She pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Toyin Ibrahim, told the court that the defendant committed the offences in November 2025 at Bodunde area along Ido Road, Ibadan.
Ibrahim alleged that Agoro, along with others still at large, forcibly entered land belonging to one Mrs. Olajumoke Wahab, represented in court by her brother, Ibrahim Agbalaya.
He further alleged that the defendant not only entered the land without the owner’s consent but also prevented Agbalaya from gaining access to the property.
According to the prosecutor, the offences contravene Sections 516, 81, and 249(d) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Magistrate Olaolu Olanipekun granted the defendant bail in the sum of ₦200,000 with one reliable surety in like sum.
The case was adjourned until Feb. 17, 2026, for further hearing.
