The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has felicitated Christian faithful and stakeholders in the sports sector as they celebrate Christmas.
The felicitation was contained in a Christmas message signed by the Chairman of the association, Hajji Gafar Liameed, and issued by the Secretary, Vera Jatto Okechukwu.
In the message, the LSFA noted that there were several reasons to celebrate Christmas, adding that football in Lagos State had continued to record growth, peace and progress.
The association attributed the development to the cooperation and understanding it enjoyed from stakeholders throughout the year, including the Lagos State Sports Commission and the Lagos State Government under Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
While wishing Christians a peaceful Christmas celebration, the LSFA urged residents to use the season for sober reflection and to showcase the virtues of Jesus Christ.
