The Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Lawal, has mourned the passing of his mother, Hajiya Dayyabatu Lawal Aliyu.
According to a family source who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Zaria, Kaduna State, on Monday, the nonagenarian died on Sunday evening at her residence in the Bambale area of Zaria City after a long illness.
The late Hajiya Dayyabatu, aged 93, is survived by four children and several grandchildren.
Her funeral prayer (Janazah) is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Bambale area of Zaria City.
