PDP Kaduna Suspends State Secretary Over Alleged Misconduct

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Mr. Sa’idu Adamu, following allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

The suspension was announced in a statement released in Kaduna by the State Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Maria Dogo. She explained that the decision was taken in accordance with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017, as amended).

According to the statement, the State Working Committee (SWC) reached the decision during a meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna on Monday, October 6, 2025.

The suspension takes immediate effect and will last for one month, pending the outcome of further investigations and subsequent actions by the party.

“During this period, Hon. Sa’idu Adamu is barred from participating in any party activity at all levels,” the statement read.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the leadership of the State Chairman, Mr. Edward Percy Masha.

Mrs. Dogo added that the ongoing actions of the SWC are aimed at strengthening the party’s internal structures and ensuring accountability at every level.
