Enyimba FC’s Head Coach, Eguma, and the club’s stand-in captain, Ufere Chinedu, have assured fans that the People’s Elephant are fully prepared to claim victory over Bendel Insurance in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture on Sunday.The Aba giants will host Insurance in a matchday five showdown at the Enyimba International Stadium, a contest both men described as highly significant for the team.Speaking with journalists on Saturday, Eguma said the match carried historic weight, as both clubs are traditional powerhouses in Nigerian football.“The team is well-prepared for the encounter and our focus is on securing all three points to sustain our positive run in the league.“I think we are ready for tomorrow’s game; it is a big one because Enyimba and Insurance are clubs with a rich legacy in Nigerian football,” the coach said.He explained that the club’s ambition was to strengthen its place on the league table, acknowledging that the competition at the top was tough.According to him, while the arrival of new players this season had posed some challenges, the squad had now found rhythm and were highly motivated for the battle ahead.“After a good result in Yenagoa, our confidence is high.
