The bodies of two men have been recovered from the site of a three-storey building under construction that collapsed on Friday night in the Yaba area of Lagos.The confirmation was provided by Mrs. Ibitayo Adenike, the Acting Head of the National Emergency Management Agency’s Lagos Operations Office, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday.According to the report, emergency responders have so far rescued four individuals, who are now receiving medical treatment, in addition to recovering the two fatalities.The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday at No. 333 Borno Street, Alagomeji, Yaba, trapping an unknown number of people beneath the rubble. Mrs. Adenike stated that search and rescue operations are ongoing and that the final number of trapped victims cannot be determined until the debris is completely cleared.Multiple emergency response agencies are present at the scene, including the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Lagos State Building Control Agency, and the Nigeria Police Force
