Lagos Assembly Holds 10th Annual Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting Across 40 Constituencies

The Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) has announced that the 10th edition of its annual stakeholders’ meetings will hold on Thursday across all 40 constituencies of the state.

Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, explained that the initiative, first introduced in 2015, has become a vital platform for dialogue, accountability, and citizen participation in governance. He said the meetings strengthen the relationship between the government and residents by ensuring that community voices are heard and pressing needs addressed.

According to Obasa, the 2025 edition is themed “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.” He noted that the theme underscores the Assembly’s commitment to highlighting the positive impact of governance in the state while aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The Speaker added that the town hall-style meetings would allow lawmakers and constituents to openly discuss governance initiatives, provide feedback, and propose solutions to community challenges. He stressed that residents across Lagos are eager to engage, and the Assembly is equally committed to transparency and collaboration.

Obasa further stated that all 40 lawmakers of the House would host the meetings simultaneously within their constituencies, reinforcing the Assembly’s dedication to community engagement and grassroots development.
