BeeHero Strengthens Australian Presence with New Headquarters

BeeHero, a leader in precision pollination technology, has established a new regional headquarters in Australia as part of its strategy to expand support for local growers and beekeepers. The move will enhance pollination services across a wide variety of crops, with the company’s advanced in-hive and in-field monitoring systems now being used for almonds, canola, macadamia nuts, apples, pears, plums, cherries, avocados, hybrid seed crops, and blueberries.

Pollination plays a crucial role in Australian agriculture, contributing an estimated AU$4–6 billion annually to the economy. Around one-third of the nation’s food crops, including almonds, avocados, and blueberries, depend on honeybee pollination.

Australia’s farming industry spanning large-scale commercial operations to family-run farms—employs more than 250,000 people and is forecast to produce crops valued at AU$85 billion in the 2024–2025 period. BeeHero’s local expansion aims to strengthen pollination efficiency and support the long-term productivity of the sector.

“We’re thrilled to be scaling up our activities at such a pivotal moment for both BeeHero and Australian agriculture,” said Omer Davidi, CEO and Co-Founder of BeeHero. “Our work is built on strong relationships, enabling us to support beekeepers and growers in sustainably producing the food that sustains Australia’s people and economy. We’re eager to work alongside both corporate and family-run farms to enhance pollination performance and improve farming efficiency and profitability.”

The expansion builds on BeeHero’s entry into the Australian market and its July 2023 partnership with Monson’s Honey and Pollination, a leading local pollination service provider. The company plans to deepen this collaboration while forging new alliances with growers across the region. Leveraging AI-powered analytics and proprietary sensor systems, BeeHero aims to bring greater transparency and operational efficiency to commercial agriculture boosting bee health, pollination quality, and crop productivity.

BeeHero’s Australian operations will be guided by newly appointed Regional Manager, Clayton Hiskins, who will oversee the company’s growth in the region while strengthening partnerships with local growers and beekeepers. He will also continue working closely with Monson’s Honey and Pollination, a key collaborator in BeeHero’s entry into the Australian market.

“With my background as a beekeeper, I know first-hand how challenging it can be to integrate new technologies into the delicate process of pollination,” said BeeHero Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Itai Kanot. “Our mission is to work hand-in-hand with beekeepers and farmers in every region to ensure our tools meet their needs, support their business goals, and adapt as those needs evolve. We are eager to bring our data-driven precision pollination expertise to help create a more productive future for Australian agriculture.”

Hiskins joins BeeHero with more than 20 years of industry experience, including nearly a decade at PTP Agriculture. His expertise spans operations, agricultural commodities, sales, strategic development, and business growth skills that will be central to BeeHero’s plans to expand its precision pollination solutions across the country.
