The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the results of its primary elections for Senate and House of Representatives tickets in Plateau State.
The announcement was made on Tuesday night in Jos by the Chairman of the Primary Election Committee for the state, Mrs Stella Oketete.
Oketete said the exercise was conducted peacefully and transparently across all senatorial districts and federal constituencies in the state.
She listed the House of Representatives candidates to include Beni Lar for Langtang North/Langtang South; Dachung Bagos for Jos South/Jos East; Abubakar Shaibu for Jos North/Bassa; and Yusuf Gagdi for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam.
Others are Ishaya Lalu for Mangu/Bokkos; Dalyop Fom for Barkin Ladi/Riyom; Joe Dashe for Mikang/Qua’an Pan/Shendam; and Idris Wase for Wase Federal Constituency.
For the Senate, she announced Sen. Simon Lalong as the candidate for Plateau South, David Barji for Plateau Central, and Simon Mwadkwon for Plateau North.
Oketete commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for his support and cooperation, which she said contributed to the smooth conduct of the primaries and the success of the committee’s assignment.
