The Registrar-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), has praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Sen. Ibrahim Ida as chairman of the commission’s board.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Magaji described the appointment as well deserved, highlighting Ida’s extensive experience across both the public and private sectors.
He expressed confidence that the commission would benefit from Ida’s expertise, noting that his leadership is expected to strengthen operations and enhance service delivery.
Magaji added that the appointment aligns with the current administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, and would further support the commission in fulfilling its mandate effectively.
He reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to improved performance and efficiency under the new board leadership.
Sen. Ibrahim Ida, born on January 15, 1949, previously represented the Katsina Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
He earned an Associate qualification from the Institute of Bankers in London in 1977, a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan in 1983, and later obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Abuja.
Ida also served as Commissioner of Finance in Katsina State and retired as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.
